Kulturhuset Stadsteatern is part of the City of Stockholm and one of Northern Europe's largest and most visited cultural institutions with a wide program in theater, dance, music, discussions, art, and libraries.

We are located at Sergels torg, in Skärholmen, in Vällingby, Husby, and during the summer in Stockholm's parks with the Parkteatern. About the position

We are now looking for an experienced and dedicated music producer for our live music operations. At our music venues, we present everything from children's and family concerts to hip-hop and heavy metal. In 2026, 140 concerts are planned. We work with concerts at many of the house's stages with capacities between 100 and 700 visitors. The position of music producer is based at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern at Sergels torg. As a music producer, you are a central part of our work to develop and execute concerts and events for a broad and curious audience. You will work closely with the program manager for music and other colleagues in the music and events unit. You will also collaborate closely with technicians, the marketing department, audience hosts, and many other professionals who work together to ensure high-quality live music across many genres reaches a large audience.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about music venues, has a strategic perspective, and enjoys working closely with production – from contracts and planning to execution on-site during evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, book, and produce concerts and events.
• Project manage both smaller and larger productions.
• Collaborate with other operations within Kulturhuset Stadsteatern to strengthen the whole.
• Communicate goals and performance requirements to employees and ensure that everyone has the right conditions.
• Develop processes, working methods, and routines – and continuously follow up and evaluate.
• Make clear decisions and work solution-oriented based on set goals.
• Be present at events, including evenings and weekends.

Accountability

• Be responsible for the execution of productions, projects, and collaborations in line with the company's business plan.
• Be responsible for delegated budget and ongoing financial follow-up.
• Report development needs and lessons learned to the Head of Music and Events and the management of the Cultural Department.

Qualifications

• You obviously have a broad musical background as our goal is to work for all Stockholmers.
• Documented experience as a music producer both nationally and internationally.
• Very good administrative skills, including contract management, strategic planning, and finance.
• Experience in project management and production in the cultural or music sector.
• Ability to lead, communicate, and create good collaborations.
• Initiative, curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a structured approach to work.
• Flexibility to work at events, including evenings and weekends.
• Good language skills.

The position is a permanent position and can be structured as a full-time position or two part-time positions at 50%.
